It was at that point that I had to make a decision I either had to make my own or buy and struggle with what was already available. Fairly quickly, I realized I needed to stop bugging my wife to the point where she would say she didn’t want to hear me complain one more time about it. Why isn’t some company already making this? I found myself bringing it up more than once with my wife. I walked away thinking, “This sort of calendar is not that hard to make”. Often tabbing and listening while ZoomText spoke was the only way I tracked down the word or button I was looking for.Įventually, I had exhausted what was on the web and was exhausted as well. When they don’t, some important elements of their websites often are invisible to those using this setting. Many website designers never check to see how their web pages look on High Contrast. White text on a black background is easier for me to see. But after hours of struggling with search engines and websites, I found nothing that was large enough to see and yet designed to take on the go. So the logical next step was to go online because everyone knows that everything you need is on the Internet. When we had enough of trudging through the stores, we accepted that we had bought our last such calendar at a store. It had become harder each year to find a weekly planner/calendar at the local big box stores that worked for me. In late 2014, along with my wife, I started to look for the weekly planner I needed.
Being in the late-stage, much of what I could see just a year or two ago, I can no longer see. I am a senior citizen affected by RP (retinitis pigmentosa).
